Article Submission

Article Submission Guidelines 

Thank you for your interest in submitting an article for publication at IYCAmembers.com. The article submission guidelines have been carefully prepared to facilitate the editorial process of publishing articles on our website. We encourage all of our readers, customers and friends to submit original content that would be both informative and of real interest to the members at IYCAmembers.com. 

Please read through our publishing guidelines prior to submitting your article.  

Submission 

  • Submit the article using the article submission form at the bottom of the page. You can copy-paste the article in the space provided.
 
  • Please make sure that you include your first and last name, email address, and company name, if applicable. Without this information your article will not be accepted.
 
  • You can also submit the articles to via email to aj_roberts@iyca.org as attached Microsoft word documents (.doc) or .txt files only. For articles submitted via email please include your first name, last name and email address within the article.
 
  • Please do not submit the same article more than once. Multiple submissions for the same article will not be accepted.
 

Content 

  • Articles submitted should be specifically related to youth training, and be approximately 1000--2500 words. Authors are encouraged to be unique and informative by including useful tips, techniques, case studies, analysis, opinions, and commentary in your articles. However, please restrict quoted or sourced material to no more than five lines.
 
  • You can include links to your own products or websites, provided the websites are active and have content for you to link to them from your article. Website links with "Under Construction" pages will not be accepted.
 
  • You can also include a short paragraph of biographical information about yourself and your business, with contact info, and appropriate images at the bottom of the article.
 
  • We encourage all article submissions to be original work. If any article that you submit is written by someone other than yourself, please mention the name of the original writer, including his or her email address and some brief background information.
 
  • Before submitting, please ensure that the articles are grammatically correct in all forms including spellings and proper use of the English language. Prior to publishing all articles are reviewed by our editor to ensure that they meet our publication standards.
 
  • We do not accept articles written in the form of press releases, advertisements, sales letters, promotional copy, or any such articles that include excessive self promotion or hype.
 
  • We do not accept articles that include replies to personal emails, letters, or other correspondence, including any content that is a violation of any law, is considered defamatory, or infringes on the legal rights of others.
 

Formatting 

  • All articles will be published in a format consistent with our publishing standards. All pre-existing formatting within the article will be removed. Any special characters and/or symbols might be lost during this process. Please avoid including any headers and/or footers in the article.
 
  • All references must be included at the end of the article. Please include all relevant information with references such as author name, publication year, volume number, page numbers, publisher, and publisher location.
 

General 

    • IYCAmembers.com reserves the right to accept or reject any article based upon quality, suitability and editorial judgment. Submission of an article does not guarantee publication.
 
    • We assume all articles submitted are complete and finished. No changes are permitted once the article is submitted, unless our editorial review determines the need for any changes. Once an article is accepted, we reserve the right to edit, abridge or condense the material if we deem appropriate.
 
    • IYCAmembers.com does not pay for any articles submitted, but we strive to provide authors with the best exposure that we can.
 
    • Due to the volume of article submissions we receive on a daily basis, we do not respond to individual queries regarding status of your submission. We will contact you, if we have any questions.
 
    • IYCAmembers.com ensures timely publishing of articles. However, publication dates are not guaranteed and the timelines involved might be longer than the expectations of some authors. You will receive an email with an expected publication date for your article.
